New York City pizza can range from terrible to incredible and found anywhere from high-end restaurants to hole in the wall spots. In this episode, we take show you where to find hidden pizza in NYC. There are three hidden places, all in Queens, where delicious pizza can be found. We take you to the back of a deli, bakery and bodega in the neighborhoods of Astoria and Jackson Heights.

Here are all of the stops we visited and pizza we ate from each. All three can also be found on our Queens food maps.

1: Rosario’s
22-55 31 St
Astoria, NY 11105

Rosario’s is an old school Italian deli in Astoria, Queens serving up excellent margherita slices in the back. It is one of our favorite slices in all of NYC!

2: Rose and Joe’s Italian Bakery
22-40 31 St
Astoria, NY 11105

This is a classic Italian bakery in Astoria, Queens with pizza in the back. A few different varieties are available, but known for their square slice (Sicilian). Rose and Joe’s is a childhood favorite of Greg’s growing up in Astoria!
